Join the Miles For Maya Team!
Many of you know our daughter Maya was diagnosed with polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when she was 18 months old. This was an incredibly difficult time for us and we found help from her doctors at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital and the people at the Arthritis Foundation! The good news for us is that Maya is now in remission without medication for over two years!
The Arthritis Foundation needs our help even more in these tough economic times and our family is again working toward raising money for the annual Arthritis Walk.
Please help if you are able by joining our team and walking with us on May 2 or if you can't do that please consider donating. Any amount you can afford helps us toward our goal. The Arthritis Foundation helps so many that are diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis and all people affected by any type of arthritis. They are a great resource for educational materials, events to connect people with resources, and they provide grants to medical institutions to improve research for all arthritis sufferers.
